Product Description

BPI Water-Resistant Plasticiser For Mortar & Render is a premium-grade, high-strength liquid admixture designed to improve the workability, plasticity, and durability of mortar mixes while significantly enhancing resistance to water penetration.

Formulated for professional use, this air-entraining plasticiser reacts with free lime within the mortar to form hydrophobic crystals, helping to block capillaries and reduce water ingress. It provides all the benefits of a traditional mortar plasticiser while delivering improved performance in damp-prone environments.

Conforming to EN 934-3:2009 + A1:2012 (Type T2), it is ideal for both internal and external applications where reliable moisture resistance is essential.

Special Features

  • Improves mortar plasticity and workability for easier application
  • Enhances resistance to water penetration
  • Reduces suction in multi-layer renders
  • Forms hydrophobic crystals to block pores within the mix
  • Minimises cracking and crazing
  • Reduces the need for lime in mortar mixes
  • Simply added to gauging water
